AM I DOING THIS RIGHT??
When you meet someone special in your life you just want to hold onto them right? What happens when they live 960.7 miles away... which equates to a 15 hour and 44 minute car ride? You hold on even tighter and you video chat, text, call? (ok, we arent "calling" kinda people... but we do if we need to) You ingrain them in every part of your life that you can so they don't feel lonely and out of your mind. You introduce them to your family and watch them become super awesome friends with your little sister and listen to your kids say "She would get it!!" Then you stare at them in disbelief when they use your bestie from eastie against you... but feel your heart grow... Yall... this Bestie from the Eastie.. Is ... Holli Beth... and i know what you are saying... this is supposed to be a knitting blog... uuhh duuhh it is... but ... it's important for you to understand this... since she is part of the "2" in the 2 Purls -- and though she is not writing this blog -- she is part of it and you will see her in everything!
Soo -- to pull the question back up -- "What happens when they live super far away?" You create a discord -- make plans for a zoom, blog, and video chat as much as you can!! We can not thank Natalie Koons from the Love in Stitches Podcast for creating her Love in Stitches membership! Without her we would have never met! Celebrity Sock A Long

Make socks about your favorite celebrity! Maybe that yarn matches the color of their eyes -- maybe, it is their favorite color or the pattern reminds you of something you think they would like!!! Maybe... it reminds you of a favorite character that they played! what ever the case may be -- lets just knit them!!

As you can see our KALs are coming right along and doing fine! I cannot wait to see what everyone else posts!!
